You understand why you people-please, why you choose unavailable partners, why you can't celebrate your wins. And yet. The knowing hasn't changed the doing. Because understanding a pattern doesn't change it — not when it lives in your body.

Techniques. Morning routines. Journaling prompts. Breathing exercises. They treat the symptom and you feel better for a week. Then the pattern finds a new way through. Because you can put icing and sprinkles on cow dung. It still stinks. Tools that work on the surface don't reach the operating system.

Pay attention to your breath right now. Not to change it — just to notice it. Is it shallow? Held? Rushing? That's your nervous system telling you something. Your body has been carrying this pattern for years — and nobody taught you how to read it.

You're running the operating system of a five-year-old trying to run the life of a thirty-eight-year-old woman. The software was installed when you were tiny, based on limited information, and it's never been updated. No amount of journaling or positive thinking can rewrite code that lives in your nervous system.

I don't explain your pattern. I'm not here to give you more tools just to manage it. I take you into your body — where the pattern actually lives — and guide you through releasing it. That's the moment everything changes.

The loop you can't think your way out of

If you recognise these stages, you're not failing. You're running a survival pattern that was installed decades ago. It kept you safe when you were small. It's keeping you stuck now.

Over-perform

You give, you produce, you earn the recognition. For a moment, it works. You feel seen. Valued. Safe. The performing self gets a hit of the thing it was built to chase.

Crash

The migraines. The insomnia. The digestive issues you’ve normalised. Your body screams what your mouth won’t say. But you push through — because that’s what you do.

Self-criticise

“Why can’t I just handle this? Everyone else seems fine.” The inner critic gets louder. When did beating yourself up ever work? Name one time.

Hide

You withdraw. Cancel plans. Scroll. Numb. The world feels like too much. You disappear into the gap between who you are and who you’ve been pretending to be.

Because nothing shifted in the body, the pattern resets. The insight was real. But insight without somatic release is just another thought. The loop continues.

From paralysing anxiety to launching her own yoga classes.

I’d had a really awful few years with depression, paralyzing anxiety and panic attacks. At one point I struggled to leave the house or even open the curtains. Then in that AWAKEN in March 2021, everything changed. I’ve not really looked back since. I qualified as a yoga teacher and now I’ve just launched online yoga classes.

I get it because I've been there.

I spent years in corporate, pleasing the people around me, being someone else to get the recognition. And years in full-contact martial arts at pro level — numbing out my body to perform.

When I came to yoga and meditation, it taught me to feel. To pay attention to my body, my heart — not just my mind. That's when everything transformed. I built my dream business, my yoga studio, my community. Then pivoted at the pandemic and continued building what is now this community.

But it's not about me. It's about the results. 100,000+ lives touched over 19+ years — and I'm really proud of that.
